As a developmental editor, I draw on my experience as a fiction author, writing instructor, and history educator to support and encourage authors of all ages.

As an author myself, I have deep empathy for writers preparing a manuscript for publication. I know how tough it is to say what you what to say and be understood.

As a writing instructor for children and adults, I’ve leaned into diverse ways to help authors understand writing techniques that make their words shine.

As a history educator, I love connecting the people and events of the past with today’s audiences.

I have experience with historical and contemporary fiction, memoir, romance, fantasy, non-fiction, technical and business writing, and writing for children. I have a Certificate in Writing for Children and a Certificate in Editing from the University of Washington.

I look forward to working with you!
